A good Education is one of the weapon for females to learn how to stand up and compete skillfully to prove that each women can work side by side with men for greater cause. Main streaming Tribal Girls with this dream is a mission in the midst of multiple challenges. By 2030 we would like to see 1000 Tribal Girls complete their basic education, ready for either Youth Development Program for Small Scale Rural Business run by Government and or be part of the next level of Vocational Education as per merit and competency.
• We do a few basic Test of each Hostel Girls – before we board them to hostel
• We do measure Age / Height / Weight of each Hostel Girls
• We do have Basic Hygiene & Cleanliness Program
1. SDG 3.8 – provide locally available 3 nutritious meals, growth height/weight, medical support to all girls which is a challenge otherwise
2. SDG 4.2 – ensure education facilities which will build them morally from childhood
3. SDG 5.1, 5.2, 5.3 – girls not bride, education to fight poverty, save them from becoming a product to tourism in the hills
4. SDG 6.1, 6.2 – ensured safe drinking water and safe sanitation
5. SDG 10.2 – educate them to compete with the mainstream
The need is huge. Children are from very interior of the hill state where many of them did not have the opportunity to learn and know the simple basic modern developments. They are not even exposed to stories of life changing female legends besides Academic Books from schools. This will be an opportunity if someone can speak to them on great leaders, especially women, who struggled in life and grew up, supported others and change community.
